Footpath No. 18 Diversion – Area of Heythrop Park Entrance

Enstone Footpath 18 Diversion

1. The public right of way over the land situated at Lime View in the parish of Enstone and shown by a bold continuous line on the map contained in this Order and described in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Order shall be extinguished on the date upon which Oxfordshire County Council certifies that the route described in paragraph 2 (below) has been brought into a fit condition for use by the public and thereupon the Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map orPublic Rights of Way for Oxfordshire shall be modified by deleting from it that public right of way, and the Definitive Statement shall be modified as described in Part 3 of the Schedule to this Order.

2. There shall be from the date of confirmation a public footpath over the land situated at Lime View in the parish of Enstone (as described in Part 2 of the Schedule) and shown by a bold broken line on the map attached to this Order, and thereupon the Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire shall be modified by adding that right of way to it, and the Definitive Statement shall be modified as described in Part 3 of the Schedule to this Order.

3. Notwithstanding this Order, statutory undertakers with apparatus over/under the land described in Article 1 above shall continue to have the same rights in respect of such apparatus as they had immediately before the date of this order.

Description of Diversion Order
From Mill Lane, Church Enstone, leading WSW to The Mill at SP 3767 2493, NNW and WSW to ascend the bank, then WNW along the access track S of The Lodge, and then generally SW and W, crossing BR19, to the Stratford on Avàn to Oxford road (A44), opposite FP 8.
