Seed orders:

Deadline Saturday 13th November 2021

A discount of up to 60% is available on seeds, depending on the value of seeds purchased by the society. For the past 3 years, we have achieved 60%, unfortunately, this does not apply to potatoes, onions etc. These have to be ordered separately.

* If you do not have a seed catalogue yet please E-Mail Helen Prower at helenprower@gmail.com or check Adams stores.

Please complete your order on the triplicate forms provided, adding up your totals including the £1.95 postage fee. Retain the green copy for your records and return the other 2 copies to Helen Prower, another member of the committee, or to the box labelled ‘Horticultural Society’ in Adams stores.

If you are not a horticultural society member, please would you fill in your address and email on the order form. No payment is required at this stage. The seeds will be available to collect before the society AGM in January (date TBC) when payment can be made. If there are any Covid restrictions the seeds will be delivered by other means.

Order forms must be returned by Saturday 13th November 2021 at the latest.

Summer Show: 2021 Show Results & Trophies

The summer flower and produce show was held in the Parish Hall on 4 September, after a necessary Covid break last year. A big thank you to everyone who took part, or who came along in the afternoon. The show was very enjoyable, with a fantastic display of flowers and produce. It was great to be joined this year by several first-time exhibitors. The society hopes to encourage everyone and anyone to take part in future shows.

As usual, the winners of the classes and trophies are published in the Ensign, and the list can also be found on the society’s page on the parish website.
